The City of Greeley wants residents to conserve water, save energy, reduce pollution, and make a pledge to save water in April.

Greeley is joining the annual Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation, according to a press release. The public can make make a pledge to save water at mywaterpledge.com during the month of April.

Greeley residents could win $3,000 toward home utility payments, water saving fixtures, and hundreds of other prizes.

Residents can also nominate a charity to possibly win a 2019 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

Greeley previously won in 2012 and then placed top 10 each year after.

“Last year we finished in 4th Place,” said Ruth Quade, the Water Conservation Manager for the city in the press release. “I hope that more residents take part to make Greeley place even higher this year.”
