Is Colorado’s Favorite Seltzer Going Booze-Free?
White Claw has become one of the most popular drinks in bars, restaurants, and backyard BBQs in Colorado. Since White Claw launched in 2016, it has become a staple and a favorite among people who want to have a good time.
Although I am a beer and whiskey enthusiast, I like drinking White Claws from time to time.
Some people hate White Claws, though. I've heard people say that drinking White Claws is like drinking television static.
That's their loss. Others say the famous phrase, "There ain't no laws when you're drinking claws!". I've seen that on a T-shirt or two.
When White Claws became popular, every alcohol company tried to make their version of a hard seltzer. White Claw remains the best-tasting and best-selling hard seltzer on the market.
Major Change Coming For White Claws
Look out La Croix and Bubly. White Claw is expanding beyond alcohol. Non-alcoholic White Claw will be hitting store shelves in Colorado in January 2024.
Food Dive reports that the non-alcoholic White Claw will have four flavors. These are the flavors.
- Mango Passionfruit
- Black Cherry Cranberry
- Lime Yuzu
- Peach Orange Blossom
White Claw Will Have Health Benefits
The new non-alcoholic White Claw will be packed with electrolytes. These electrolytes will help with hydration.
I am laughing to myself as I am pondering the potential for awkward situations in Colorado workplaces.
I picture a boss asking, "Are you drinking on the job?"
The employee then tells them that it is a non-alcoholic beverage.
In case you were wondering, yes, there are laws when you're drinking claws.
I also picture somebody getting pulled over and the driver has to explain to law enforcement that it is a non-alcoholic beverage.
We will have to do a taste test once non-alcoholic White Claw's hit Colorado store shelves and we will let you know what we think.
