Believe it or not, the divorce rate is going down. This is largely due to couples waiting longer to get married and more couples being willing to go to couples therapy.

According to data from QR Code Generator, Coloradans are more likely to search for divorce solutions rather than seek marital counseling.
The study compared Google search results for terms like “divorce lawyer” and “couples' therapist” and found that Colorado ranks third in the nation for searches related to divorce.
Coloradans search for divorce lawyers more than couples' therapists at a higher rate than nearly every other state, which shows that divorce is the solution for many couples rather than trying to solve marital issues.
Why Coloradans Are Getting Divorced
Forbes put together the top reasons for marriages ending in divorce and they found that the top reasons are money issues, domestic abuse, infidelity, and lack of commitment.
Lack of commitment is the biggest contributor to divorce in our county. It specifically cites that most couples heading to divorce are not willing to work on their marriage.
