Two people suffered minor injuries after a boat burst into flames at Boyd Lake State Park on Friday. Everyone on board managed to escape but two people, who suffered minor burns.

The blaze was extinguished by emergency crews. Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services, Larimer County Sheriff's Office and Parks and Wildlife crews responded to the scene.

According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, Marina employee Steve Deines jumped in a dingy and pushed the burning boat away from the marina and docks holding approximately 125 boats. That boat also caught fire and was destroyed.
