Town of Windsor Plans Kickoff Party For USA Pro Challenge

Stage 6 of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge will pass through Fort Collins, Loveland and Windsor on Saturday August 24th.  In honor of the event, the Town of Windsor has planned a Kickoff Party on Friday, August 23rd at Boardwalk Park.

Schedule of Events For Friday, August 23rd

 6:00pm -8:00 pm

• LIVE MUSIC! Harley & the V-Twins
• Food & fun including inflatables
• Large Tricycle Race
• Aqua Trike Races

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

• BEER GARDEN

7:30 pm

• Parade of Bikes - around Windsor Lake Dress up in your coolest, craziest costume & decorate your bike!

8:30 pm - Midnight - DOUBLE FEATURE MOVIES!

• 8:30 pm - Rise of the Guardians (rated PG)
• 10:00 pm - American Flyers (rated PG-13)

ROAD CLOSURES FOR USA PRO CYCLING CHALLENGE

• Main Street in Windsor/ State Hwy 392 Closed both directions between I-25 and Hwy 257 southbound at CR19.
• Exit 262 (Windsor) northbound and southbound off-ramps closed. Motorists should use Exit 265 (Harmony Road Exit) or Exit 255 (State Highway 402) 11am – Noon
• Exit 259 (Crossroads Boulevard) northbound and southbound exit ramp closure. Motorists should use Exit 265 (Harmony Road Exit) or Exit 255 (State Highway 402). 11am – 12:15pm
• Exit 257 (Loveland/Greeley) northbound and southbound exit ramp closure. Motorists should use Exit 265 (Harmony Road Exit) or Exit 255 (State Highway 402). 11:30am – 12:30pm
• Eastbound US Hwy 34 Closed at Centerra Parkway in Loveland. Noon – 12:30pm
