Tornado Watch in Effect of Northern Colorado

The weather has been a bit bipolar over the past few days! Hot...storms...hot...tornado watch. Today is no different; we are currently in a tornado watch here in most of Northern Colorado.

According to a release from the National Weather Service many counties are under the tornado watch until 8 pm tonight. The counties included in the watch are:

• Larimer
• Weld
• Boulder
• Morgan
• Washington
• Logan
• Sedgwick
• Morgan
• Phillips

There is a possibility for some strong thunderstorms that could produce large hail and winds in excess of 60 mph this afternoon going into the evening.
