Mini hitch helps Larimer County Sheriff's Posse Deliver Toys For Santa Cops
Todd Harding, TSM

For the past 7 or 8 years the Larimer County Sheriff's Posse has allowed me to be part of something very special.  We gather at a mobile home park in North Fort Collins and deliver toys for Santa Cops.

It's both heart-warming and heart-breaking.  It is such a joy to see the smile on the little kids faces when the toys arrive.  At the same time, it breaks my heart to see some families that can't even afford a Christmas tree for their family.

It's not too late to give to Santa Cops. Charley Barnes Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run is coming up Sunday, December 22nd.  Here are some places you can drop off toys:

  • You can drop off unwrapped new toy/s at the John Elway Dealers in Greeley (2501 35th Ave) before December 22nd.
  • You can drop off unwrapped new toy/s at Jacks Auto in Loveland (3210 Garfield Ave.) no later than Friday, December 20th.
  • You can drop off unwrapped new toy/s at the K99 studios in Windsor (600 Main St.) no later than Friday, December 20th.
  • Join us for the after party in Windsor at Ricky B’s on Sunday, December 22nd starting at 12:00 PM.  Get there early to watch 300+ bikes roll into town.
