A teacher at a Florida charter school allegedly gave students lollipops for massages - and even pulled a 3rd grader out of class for a neck rub.

Outraged mom Crystal Leon ranted on Facebook after learning her 8-year-old daughter was bringing home candy as a reward for free massages and not good behavior.

"I've been hushed way too long," wrote Leon. "I am so disappointed and don't feel like my children are safe now."

Leon said her daughter's dismissal teacher at Renaissance Charter School at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, Florida, asked students if they knew how to give massages just days into the new school year. She says her daughter volunteered to give the teacher massages and got lollipops as a reward.

The teacher, identified by Leon as Ms. Jazombek, even went so far as to pull the girl out of another class to receive a rubdown in another - empty - classroom.

Leon told WPBF-TV: "She came into my daughter's classroom and asked her teacher, 'Hey, I need her for 5 minutes.' ... Then she brought [my daughter] into an empty classroom, and said her students gave her a headache and needed a massage. [My daughter] gave her a neck and back massage and she sent her back to class."

Charter Schools USA, which runs the school, claims it took "appropriate actions" in the case. The teacher was suspended for 2 days.

Port St. Lucie police are currently investigating the incident.
