People in Northern Colorado have been clamoring for a Costco Wholesale Club for years. There's been rumors dating back to the mid-nineties of where and when Fort Collins residents would get a Costco that is less than a 45-minute drive away.
Now it is official, a Costco will be built in Timnath, Colorado and it should open on October 1st!
A grass fire is burning at Larimer County Roads 5 and 40 north of Timnath and east of Fort Collins. Poudre Fire Authority reported they were on scene about 5:42 p.m. Wednesday evening via Twitter.
