johnny's community run

This weekend is Johnny's Community Run here in Windsor. This is such a wonderful event that brings Windsor and Northern Colorado together in the name of one of the kindest souls who called this area home

The spirit of John Jacoby is alive and well and will be felt big time in the area on May 5th when Johnny's Community Run takes place at Boardwalk Park in Windsor. John was a fixture of our community and we still feel the loss of him since he was taken from us in May of 2015.

There is nothing like the feeling of community. We are blessed here in Northern Colorado to have so many wonderful, caring communities and we work in one of the best of all...Windsor.

Our tight knit and loving community will never forget the pain we felt on May 18, 2015 when John Jacoby, our "Unofficial Mayor of Windsor" and ultimate Happiness Warrior, was senselessly killed while riding his beloved bike. We all felt and still feel the pain of this unsolved crime

This Saturday in Windsor, all around Windsor Lake, you will feel the spirit of the town's Ambassador of Happiness John Jacoby. John may be gone but his heart and kindness will be remembered and felt all around town as we honor him with Johnny's Community Walk.

May 18, 2015 is a day the community of Windsor will never forget. We lost our Ambassador of Happiness and Unofficial Mayor of Windsor when our own John Jacoby was senselessly murdered. We will never get over the loss and we will never let the giving, loving spirit of John be forgotten.
