John Jacoby’s Brother Mark Talks About John’s Death and Keeping His Spirit Alive [VIDEO]
May 18, 2015 is a day the community of Windsor will never forget. We lost our Ambassador of Happiness and Unofficial Mayor of Windsor when our own John Jacoby was senselessly murdered. We will never get over the loss and we will never let the giving, loving spirit of John be forgotten.
I had the chance to sit down with John's brother Mark Jacoby and talked about John's death and what we are and can be doing to keep his spirit alive.
This year on April 23rd at 9 am the first annual “Johnny’s Community Walk” will take place around Windsor Lake. It will be a 5K run/walk with the money raised going to our 28 Hours of Hope, the Johnny Jacoby Scholarship Fund for Windsor High School students and Athletes in Tandem, all in John’s name.
This is great chance to keep the spirit of giving alive in our community. A community that meant the world to Johnny as he did to us. There are chances to get involved on the sponsorship level or just participating. Please be a part of this great event in the memory of wonderful human being. See you April 23rd at Windsor Lake. Johnny will never be forgotten. Let’s keep his spirit alive!
