Colorado Teen With Learner’s Permit Clocked at 90 MPH
Most Colorado teenagers get their learner's permit and abide by the rules. One teen, on the other hand, might not be getting a driver's license anytime soon after being busted by the police.
Speeding. Check.
Temporary Instruction Permit. Check.
Mandatory Court Date. Also Check.

A female driver with a learner's permit was clocked speeding at 90 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone as she was driving into Boulder, Colorado, on U.S. Highway 36.

KDVR picked up the story of the speedy teen, stating she may not be able to get her license when it comes time due to the excessive speeding ticket. Driving at least 25 miles per hour over the posted speed limit is a Class 2 traffic misdemeanor in Colorado, requiring the driver to make a mandatory court appearance.
Colorado Teen Drivers Face Strict Point Rules
Colorado drivers 17 and younger who get six points on their license in 12 months, or seven points before turning 18, could end the joy ride with a suspension of their driver's license. Considering this teenage girl didn't have her official driver's license yet is probably not a good sign for her getting the coveted honor of an official driver's license.
