Remember last Easter, when there was a snowstorm and we were all self-quarantining? Yeah, this year was a lot less doom and gloom.

Not only were we actually given the 'OK' to have small family gatherings (I was the only person at mine who wasn't fully immunized), but the weather allowed for safe gatherings outdoors, because it was noticeably warmer than this time last year. In fact, the high temps set records in the Front Range area.

According to the National Weather Service, on Sunday, Loveland hit a high of 81 degrees, while Denver reached 80 degrees. Even Antero Reservoir, which is often the coldest place in the contiguous U.S., was a comfortable 63 degrees, the warmest it's been on April 4 in at least the last 60 years.

The rest of this week will be mild, too, though a little breezy, the National Weather Service says. There's a chance of showers on Tuesday night in the Fort Collins area — never, ever put away the snow scraper before June; if you recall, last April, we also had a sizable spring storm.

But aside from that, high temps will range from the upper 50s to the low 70s through Friday. You can see the full forecast from the National Weather Service here.
