Popular Northern Colorado Ice Cream Shop Closing

A popular Northern Colorado ice cream shop will be closing down at the end of November. Goobers Ice Cream located at 901 Broad Street in Milliken, Colorado, has announced the ice cream shop will close after being for sale for a few years.

The announcement of the closure came via Facebook Wednesday evening.

For the last couple of years I have been trying to sell Goobers. It has finally happened. It has been a joy serving this community for the last 7 years. If you want to come in an get some Goobers Ice Cream stop by this month!!

While Goobers Ice Cream will soon be a thing of the past in Milliken, that doesn't mean that the small Northern Colorado town will be without its own ice cream shop. Goobers Ice Cream did announce that the new owners will be reopening as Paradise Ice Cream.

No information as to when Paradice Ice Cream will open in place of Goobers Ice Cream as of yet. One thing we do know, those of us who have stopped into Goobers Ice Cream in the past will dearly miss the little Milliken ice cream shop.
