Need A New Show To Watch? Check Out This Week’s ‘Picks To Click’
Picture this: You just got home after a long day out on the town and you make a beeline right for the couch. You turn your TV on - what are you going to watch?
Will you watch the same show or movie you've already seen a thousand times? Probably.
That's where we come in.
We (AJ and I) are those people, watching the same things we've already seen time and time again - not that there's anything wrong with that... We've just decided that it's now time to expand our watchlists.
If you're looking for a new show or movie to watch, look no further.
At the beginning of every week, we'll be sharing our "Picks To Click", a series of different shows/movies we're currently watching, with you.
And - who knows? One of our suggestions might even become your new favorite show/movie.
Ready to expand your watchlist? Read on to find out what our "Picks To Click" are for this week:
Maxx's Pick: Alaskan Women Looking For Love
Yes, I'll admit I'm a sucker for reality tv - always have been.
These days though, it takes a lot for a show to hold my undivided attention; but this one has done it.
An oldie but a goodie, the title of the show pretty much gives the concept of it away - six women who know nothing besides working and living in Alaska decide to leave temporarily leave their roots to find love. The catch? They're going to look for it in Miami, Florida.
If you've never been to Miami or know nothing about it, the fact that the show sends these women there might not mean much to you. But to me? I've been going to Miami my entire life and based on what I know about/what I've seen in Miami, I find whoever chose to send these women there did it for the ultimate shock factor - and to ultimately set these women up for dating disaster (but hey, that's the epitome of reality tv.. and that's why it's so good).
I honestly don't know why I haven't watched this show sooner; on the bright side, it made for a great binge-watch over the holidays.
You can binge-watch Alaskan Women Looking For Love on Hulu on TLC.
AJ's Pick: Harry Potter
Again, not new but this iconic, beloved series just celebrated a major milestone.
Harry Potter, one of the most popular film franchises in the history of film has officially been around for 20 years; to celebrate, AJ decided he was finally going to give the series a shot.
To his absolute surprise (and mine, too) he loved it and wound up binge-watching the entire film series during the holidays.
You can stream the epic, nostalgic Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts reunion now on HBO Max.
