Leslie Jones Represents Colorado State University in Uber Eats Commercial
Leslie Jones is preparing for March Madness the only way a Colorado State University fan can: with some takeout and by decking out in green and gold.
"Tonight, I'll be eating loaded tots for March Madness," she proclaims in the first few seconds of the ad, which you can see below. The doorbell rings. A takeout bag appears in front of her. "Thanks, boo!"
She's hilarious, and one of our most awesome Colorado State University alums. Before we get into her history, check out her new commercial right here:
Jones pokes fun at last year's version of herself, where she's still in CSU gear (lucky for us), but just a little less...put together.
"You are a mess," she says to herself in the commercial, who responds, "EVERYBODY WAS A MESS!" Too true.
I've, personally, never seen anyone wear CSU gear in a commercial before, so this was awesome to experience when it showed up on my feed. Even CSU commented on it, posting the below Instagram:
According to Magazine at CSU, Jones came to CSU in 1987 to play women's basketball, but found comedy instead. She entered a comedy competition on-campus, and the rest is history. Jones eventually ended up at SNL as a writer, and then one of the most beloved on-screen personalities.
