Colorado K-9’s Nose Leads to Massive Drug Bust with 30,000 Fentanyl Pills
In recent years, fentanyl abuse has become widespread across Colorado and beyond and has been responsible for countless overdoses and fatalities. This drug is especially concerning due to the fact that it’s often found in a pill form that resembles other, less potent drugs, which is one of the reasons that it’s so dangerous.

Luckily, a massive drug bust took place in Colorado, where tens of thousands of these fentanyl pills were seized, along with numerous pounds of other dangerous drugs, and the officer responsible for the bust isn’t your everyday cop.
Drugs Discovered by a Colorado K-9 Unit
The member of law enforcement primarily responsible for finding the drugs is a K-9 officer named Harry. Alongside his partner, a police officer named Officer Cashman, Harry was given the task of sniffing packages at the post office in Parker, Colorado, and discovered a massive amount of illegal and dangerous drugs.
The package was first intercepted for being suspicious, and inside the package was a loudspeaker shell filled with fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Colorado Drug Bust was One of the Largest
The drug bust, which took place almost a year ago in January of 2025, has been given the distinction of being one of the largest single-package drug seizures that has ever taken place, according to the United States Postal Inspection Service.
In all, an estimated 30,000 fentanyl pills were seized, along with 28 pounds of meth.
