Experience God’s Country in this 100-Year-Old Colorado Cabin
Living in a cabin high up in the woods surrounded by gigantic trees is a dream that many people have at one point or another and often times there's a lake involved.
If that happens to be something you've thought about or are even considering, then here's some good news: a brand new real estate listing has been posted with exactly that currently for sale in what many people consider Colorado's God's Country.
100-Year-Old Colorado Cabin in God's Country is For Sale
The property we're going to look at is located at 21629 Baron Lake Drive, Cedaredge, Colorado 81413. However, the cabin isn't technically in the town of Cedaredge, but rather right on the Grand Mesa in the middle of a bunch of lakes. In fact, the cabin is a stone's throw away from Baron Lake.
The cabin is currently listed for $299,900 on Realtor.com and features one bedroom, one bathroom, 760 square feet of living space and was originally built in 1923. However, as you'll see below, the bedroom is located on the top floor and is plenty big enough to accommodate two beds. In addition, while the cabin was built roughly 100 years ago, it was renovated as recently as 2013.
In addition to the cabin, there is also a decent-sized shed on the property, as well as an area perfect for grilling, all surrounded by massive trees. You'll also notice that while one other house is visible from the property, the cabin is very isolated and you likely wouldn't notice any neighbors whatsoever.
