In-N-Out Finalizes Sale on a Property in Northern Colorado
The first step to getting an In-N-Out in Northern Colorado is purchasing a property. In-N-Out has officially done that according to the Reporter-Herald. In-N-Out Burgers closed on the 1.38-acre property at 1450 Fall River Drive in Loveland's Centerra on February 17.
The location is a place you might recognize as it used to be Mimi's Cafe, which closed a few years ago. The structure was built in 2004 and is currently 7,449 square feet. In-N-Out's plans for the Loveland location include at 3,800 square foot building with an attached patio and a drive-thru that will hold 21 cars.
We're thinking that the 21-car drive-thru might be a little short considering that most of the In-N-Out locations in Colorado have seen hefty lines that can cause quite the traffic jam. In-N-Out's restaurant application was filed in January and approvals still have yet to be granted.
If all goes as planned for In-N-Out Burger, we could soon have our first location in Northern Colorado. The burger chain has been polarizing among Coloradans over the past couple of years. It seems to be split right down the middle when it comes to loving or despising In-N-Out burgers. Either way, we'll be happy to see another option for food in Loveland and see an empty building put to use.
