Greeley Stampede Announces Independence Day Parade Winning Floats

One of Nothern Colorado's hottest events of the summer, the Greeley Stampede is officially behind us - and now it's time to look back on all the good times and excitement that transpired from this year's event.

One of the most anticipated of the Greeley Stampede events each year is the Stampede's Independence Day Parade.

As if the 100th celebration of the Stampede wasn't a big enough event in itself, this year's parade on July 4 featured over 110 entries, a flyover, and can't miss traditions leading the day (you quite literally can't miss those longhorns if you tried).

“The parade is such a community favorite and a great way to get involved,” said Greeley Stampede Parades Chairman Stephen Walker, as per a July 20 press release via the Greeley Stampede.

“Seeing all of the families and hearing stories about the generations of people that have attended the event is incredible and gives us purpose for why we do this. It really brings everyone together to celebrate our independence. The fourth just wouldn’t be the same without it.”

On Wednesday (July 20) Greeley Stampede officials released the names of the winning floats during this year's Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade.

A winning float was selected for each of the various float categories mentioned below. The winning floats of the 2022 Greeley Stampede Independence Parade are as follows:
