A new food truck serving up Greek cuisine is open in Northern Colorado. From Gyros to Dolmades, the Doner Street Greek Cuisine food truck is sure to satisfy your Mediterranian food cravings.

Nick Mavridis opened the Doner Street Greek Cuisine food truck in Evans, Colorado on March 10 in the Roastys Coffee parking lot at 3100 11th Avenue. Since finding out about this new food truck, I have been craving Greek food and to say the least, I cannot wait to try it.

Owner, Nick Mavridis, had the desire to bring authentic Greek cuisine to the Greeley and Evans area and did just that with the Doner Street food truck. Mavridis' family immigrated to Greeley, Colorado from Greece in 1994.

Gyros

• Filled with meat, tzatziki, onion, tomato, and fries in a pita.

Greek Fries

• Topped with meat, tzatziki, onion, tomato, and feta.

Greek Salad

• Romaine, green peppers, onion, tomato, feta, Kalamata olives, and dressing.

Dolmades

• Grape leaves stuffed with rice and herbs.

The Doner Street Greek Cuisine food truck also serves up non-Greek menu items as well. Those items include chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, brat burgers, and cheeseburgers.

The Doner Street Greek Cuisine food truck is open Thursday - Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm. I don't know about you, but I am in the mood for a gyro right about now.
