It seems these days that we are constantly reading stories about professional athletes and the trouble they get into. I swear not a day goes by that someone hasn’t been arrested for something which is why I love to point out a good story when I read one. K.J. Choi, who just won The Players Championship golf tournament last weekend, is donating $200,000 of his winnings to tornado relief efforts in the southeastern parts of the United States. What a class move. I don’t think a lot of us would have guessed that a South Korean golfer would be a hero to folks in the southeast but he sure is. K.J. won The Players in a sudden-death playoff over David Toms and took home $1.71 million for the win.

This is not the first time K.J. has shown this type of graciousness, he often gives a percentage of his earnings to local churches in the area of the tournaments he plays in. K.J. says he want the victims to know that their troubles are not being ignored. Who would you help out if you won a million dollars?
