
Fort Collins’ Ranch-Way Feeds Evacuated Due to Fire
Smoke was reported Wednesday morning at 10:18 a.m. at the corner of Linden and Willow Streets in Fort Collins.
Poudre Fire Authority firefighters arrived on scene and were able to extinguish a fire at Ranch-Way Feeds. No injuries were reported as everyone in the building at been evacuated. The fire appears to have been in a piece of equipment inside the building called a hopper.
The fire is still under investigation; PFA will release additional details when the investigation is completed.
People and businesses close-by could see and smell smoke, while the fire alarm went off periodically. According to Poudre Fire Authority, the fire was completely out at 12:54 p.m.
Ranch-Way Feeds is a feed manufacturer whose products are produced and distributed throughout the Rocky Mountains region.
