My Favorite Places To Buy Plants In Northern Colorado
Is it safe to plant flowers outside yet? In Colorado, you really never know. I think I'm ready to roll the dice, which means I'll be visiting some of my favorite nurseries this weekend.
Also, my husband is obsessed with planting trees in our backyard, and I don't hate it. Nothing spruces up an area like fresh greenery.
We are so lucky to live in Northern Colorado because there are so many types of family friendly flower and plant nurseries in every town. So let's break it down. Here are my favorite local nurseries in Fort Collins, Timnath, and Windsor.
Nurseries in Fort Collins
Fort Collins Nursery has been around for a very long time. It opened back in 1932. As a Northern Colorado native, I honestly can't remember living without it. I remember visiting with my grandma back in the 80s and 90s, and now my husband and I love shopping there.
Fossil Creek Nursery has a wide range of trees, shrubs, and flowers. Known for its vast lot, be prepared to walk a lot to see it all.
Gulley Green House is known for many things, but they might be best known for their wide selection of beautiful hanging plants.
My Favorite Nursery in Timnath
SiteOne is definitely our go-to location for not only trees and bushes but also fresh mulch, and our garden has never looked better.
My Favorite Nursery in Windsor
I'm not only a huge fan of plants but also of beer. That's why The Windsor Gardner is one of my favorite places. Not only do they sell craft beer, but they also host food trucks and live music throughout the week and on weekends.
These are just some of my favorite Northern Colorado nurseries to make your yard beautiful this summer.
