Fall Begins Today – Todd’s Five Favorite Things About His Favorite Season

Today is the 1st day of Fall. O.K. it's really tonight.  The autumnal equinox brings the fall season to the Northern Hemisphere at 8:29 MT tonight.  Fall  happens to be my favorite season. Here are my top 5 reason:

5. The Leaves Change - Not only is Fall my favorite season, it's the most beautiful season. I love the oranges, reds and yellows!

4. New Shows on TV - They are not always good shows, but it is always exciting to get new episodes of the shows I do like, like Survivor.

3. Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets - I get up early, so I get to see some beautiful fall sunrises. Every once in a while I catch a beautiful sunset too, like the one below.

2. It gets Colder - The chill in the air makes me happy. I am a larger man and hot weather is just not my thing. I love snow and I love it to be a little cooler.  It also means I can pull out all of my winter sweaters and sweatshirts.

1. Football - I love the Broncos and the CSU Rams. Football makes me happy, except when we lose to the Seahawks. I would like to take this moment to thank the football Gods for Peyton Manning.
