Marcus McElroy rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Colorado State football team to a 41-31 road win over Fresno State on Saturday.

The Rams (3-5) earn their second straight win and improve to 2-2 in Mountain West Conference play. The Bulldogs fall to 3-4.

CSU coach Mike Bobo improves to 3-0 all-time against Fresno State.

McElroy took on a larger role, filling in for the team's suspended leading rusher Marvin Kinsey Jr.

Rams quarterback Patrick O'Brien threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver Warren Jackson had nine catches for 178 yards and a touchdown.

The Rams host UNLV at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Canvas Stadium.
