CUTE ALERT: Colorado Shelter Cat Goes Viral For Disguising Itself As Turtle
This video will certainly make your day better. There are many great shelters and organizations in Colorado that help pets and animals find their forever home.
One of those organizations that we love is NOCO Humane. Each week, we highlight an animal available for adoption. I have adopted a pet from NOCO Humane and had a great experience. By the way, you can check out this week's pet of the week here.
Cat Care Society in Lakewood, Colorado just went viral because of a hilarious thing one of the cats in their care did on camera.
Cat Care Society in Lakewood and the Turtle Cat
Cat Care Society opened in 1981 and is a free-roaming cat shelter. One of the cats in their care, Theodore, was feeling anxious when he arrived at their shelter.
Theodore would feel more comfortable by hiding underneath a small bean bag chair and walking around the facility. And well... Theodore looks like a turtle when he is moving around.
Theodore: Colorado's Latest Pet Celebrity
According to @thatgoodnewsgirl who shared the clip, Theodore hides underneath the bean bag when he is feeling anxious. Since he was adopted, Theodore is spending less time underneath the bean bag.
As Theodore has become more comfortable with his stay at Cat Care Society he is literally coming out of his shell.
The user said that the Cat Care Society will include the bean bag with the adoption of Theodore.
As of November 12 at noon, Theodore is still available for adoption. You can learn more about him here.
