Taste of Fort Collins has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 30 years, and this is looking like the best year yet. Bring your appetite and positive vibes to Washington Park this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27, where you'll enjoy the best food and drink from across Colorado, along with fantastic live music from headliners Modest Mouse and Lil Jon.

It's a full weekend of fun, and if you're as hyped as we are, you might need a handy guide to what's going on. There are some new rules in place this year to keep everyone safe and make sure we all have a great time.

Let's dive in.

Taste of Fort Collins Tickets Are Online Only This Year

One big thing to be aware of is that tickets will not be sold at the gate this year. You'll want to grab yours ahead of time, and the sooner the better - ticket prices can go up as we get nearer the festival.

If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, head here.

Clear Bags Only (With A Couple Of Exceptions)

Any bag larger than a standard phone will need to be clear if you want to get into the event. The only exceptions this year will be medical bags and coolers for breastfeeding parents.

Bags will be searched before entry for everyone's safety.

No Weapons Of Any Kind Allowed

Sometimes it seems like everyone in Colorado carries a pocketknife. Hey, we've got work to do! But you'll need to leave it at home for this event.

No weapons of any kind will be allowed on site. Everyone will need to go through a metal detector and be wanded before going inside.

Get There Early & Check Out The Map and Parking Info

We've got an Event Map you can check out here. The layout is pretty simple at first glance, but remember there'll be a crowd so it's good to have an idea of where everything will be.

We recommend getting there a bit before 4:00 PM to avoid long lines and get the lay of the land.

You can get directions and parking info here, and there's an Entrance Guide here.

Come Hungry (And Thirsty)

Awesome local bands and headliners Modest Mouse and Lil Jon will bring the music. You just need to bring your appetite. (See this year's music lineup here.)

Over two dozen of Colorado's finest food and drink vendors are going to be there, so eat a light breakfast that morning because you're gonna need lots of room.

Find a list of food vendors here, and drink info here.

Let's Give Summer A Proper Sendoff

September 22 is the first day of fall, so let's say goodbye to summer with awesome food, drinks, and live music at Taste of Fort Collins this weekend.

Looking at all those food vendors made me hungry. I wonder where I can get some good pizza before this weekend's festivities...
