There are many animals that are ready for adoption right now at NOCO Humane. Whether you want a dog, a cat, or a critter, we feel confident in saying that you can find the perfect pet for your lifestyle at one of NOCO Humane's campuses in Northern Colorado.

I recently adopted a dog from NOCO Humane and she is an absolute sweetheart. I enjoyed the adoption process as well and my pup Lucy was ready for us and now we are training her and giving her the best life possible.

Each week, we like to highlight one animal for our Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week. We would love to introduce you to Soot.

Soot is a domestic shorthair cat that is ready for adoption right now at NOCO Humane. Soot is a four-year-old boy that is 11 pounds. Soot arrived at NOCO Humane in September and has been in their loving care for over 50 days.

Soot arrived at NOCO Humane as a stray.

Soot is a very sweet and gentle little guy. The way to his heart is by petting him and scratching behind his ears. Soot is perfect for a patient and loving household and is extremely affectionate once you gain his trust.

What to Consider Before Adopting Soot at NOCO Humane

Soot is a very shy guy and can be timid and afraid. He will need a little bit of patience in your household while he adjusts and comes out of his shell. A quiet environment is where Soot would thrive the most.
