New Toyota and Lexus Recall In Colorado: Thousands Are in Danger

Just last week, I predicted that there would not be any major car recalls in Colorado for the rest of the year. That was naive, and I was wrong.

One of the most popular car manufacturers, Toyota, is recalling over one million vehicles because of a major malfunction that puts lives at risk in Colorado.

Toyota vehicles happen to be one of the most common vehicles you will see in Colorado. Toyota Tacomas are the fourth most common vehicle in Colorado.

Thankfully, this popular truck is not being recalled, however, many other vehicles are.

Vehicles That Are Being Recalled in Colorado

NPR reports that these vehicles are being recalled due to a major safety concern.

Why These Vehicles Are Being Recalled

The reason why these are being recalled is for a pretty scary reason. Toyota and Luxus vehicles are being recalled because airbags are not deploying properly.

Toyota will send out official notices in February. You will not have to pay anything, Toyota will fix this issue for Colorado vehicles for free.
