Colorado State Patrol Hiring New Troopers

Currently, there are around 800 Colorado State Patrol Troopers and CSP is looking to hire up to 35 more. This would be the first time in years that Colorado State Patrol is hiring troopers.

Numerous different positions are going to be available including road patrol, hazardous material team, canine units and more. According to KDVR, the process is extremely competitive. Starting salary for a cadet is approximately $67,000 with paid time at the academy. Colorado State Patrol applications are open until June 9th.
