Although Colorado is a highly active and healthy state, we still struggle when it comes to obesity. Obesity is one of the biggest problems facing America. Right now, 69% of Americans are obese.

WalletHub put together a list of the Most Overweight and Obese States in the U.S., and Colorado was ranked last. This is a good thing. This means that we are the least obese state in the nation. Colorado has the smallest percentage of obese adults.

Additionally, Colorado has the lowest rates of high blood pressure and percentage of physically inactive adults.

Although this seems very optimistic, Colorado still has a problem with obesity. Many counties in Colorado have at least one-third of their population suffering from obesity.

Boulder County is the least obese county in Colorado. Boulder actually happens to be one of the least obese counties in the entire nation. Five of Colorado's counties are in the top 10 least obese counties in the country.
