Colorado has many great colleges, technical, and education programs across the state. In Colorado, more residents are going to higher education than in most states across the country. Colorado Colleges in National Rankings

U.S. News has unveiled its official rankings of universities nationwide. Only two colleges in Colorado cracked the top 100. The University of Colorado-Boulder ranked as the 97th best college in America. Colorado School of Mines had the best ranking out of all Colorado colleges at 80.

Other Colorado Schools in the Top 250

Only three other Colorado colleges made the top 250 ranking. University of Colorado Denver is on the list at 232, Colorado State University at 151, and the University of Denver at 117.

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Colorado Technical University, Regis University, and University of Northern Colorado were also mentioned.

What the Rankings Really Mean

It is great to see so many Colorado colleges on the list. It is important to note that the ranking was solely based on four-year universities. There are over 2,500 universities across the nation.
