Charley’s Son Cade Runs His First Motocross This Weekend

I have always wanted to race a dirt bike but never had the chance. My son Cade, now does and will hit the track for the first time this Sunday.

It's your typical Father and Son deal:  'Do good in school, no F's, get to class on time and you can race. Screw that up and you don't.' Straight forward and cut and dry. It's working like a charm. So now my son will be racing his 2008 YZ250F and I get to live my dream through him. We both win on this one.

Races start this Sunday at 9 a.m. for those who want to come out and watch your favorite riders. If you are racing, check in is at 6:30 a.m., riders meeting at 7:30 and practice begins at 8 a.m. $25 entry fee/$30 pro.

The gate fee is only $7 and Sunday's race is also a fundraiser for Breast Caner Awareness so wear your pink and let's go Team Barnes and Yamaha!
