Brian Wishes Godzilla A Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Godzilla! I remember when I was a kid I would get excited on weekends when they would show the old Godzilla movies. He was my first movie hero. I would cheer him on if he was battling King Kong ,Mothra ,Rodan or some other creature that looked like a giant bug or glob of goo.

Godzilla got his start back in 1954 and has really never left us. The most recent big budget Godzilla film was in 98 when Matthew Broderick took on the creature. Who can ever forget Ferris Bueller vs. Godzilla. Ok, I kid, but he did star in the movie. Godzilla is such a big star that he actually has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which he was honored with in 2004. Rumor has it they are working on another new Godzilla project now. I think he eats Harry Potter. That would be funny.

Are you a Godzilla fan?
