AJ’s Outdoor Adventures: My 1st 9 Hikes In Colorado
First month in Colorado in the books and let me just say, it's been everything and THEN some that I expected in terms of natural beauty and having a plethora of outdoor activities to dive into.
I've been on some incredible hikes, found some mountain biking spots, places to wander and...I haven't even unpacked my kayak out of storage yet.
I have my eye on some 14'ers but those will probably need to wait until the Spring to tackle but what I have really enjoyed the most is finding that there are SO many options for so many different skill levels for all different ages. Beauty is all around us and we are very fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet and even though I've only been here a month, I'm not taking anything for granted and plan on enjoying as many places as possible both alone and with my family and sharing those adventures with you.
Here's all the hikes I've taken on so far:
Horsetooth Rock
Arthur's Rock
Red Rocks
Soapstone Prairie Natural Area
Buffalo Bill's Grave/Lookout Mountain
Central City, Colorado
Aspen Grove off Peak to Peak Highway
PineRidge Natural Area
