$3.5 Million Tree to Be Installed at Denver International Airport
There is always something new coming to Denver International Airport. Denver International Airport is not only famous for being one of the biggest airports in the world, but it is also famous for having iconic art. Even though the art is odd at times. The gargoyles and Blucifer are favorites.
Well, a new piece of art may be the most famous piece at Denver International Airport. We certainly hope it will be because man, it is expensive.
New Tree Coming to Denver International Airport
Denver International Airport will be placing a tree inside of the airport. However, the art piece is not an actual tree. It will be known as "The Stars and Cottonwood" and will feature over 30,000 crystals. Wow, that is elegant.

The tree will be 60 feet tall and 70 feet wide, according to CBS Colorado. Take a look at what the tree will look like below.
There will also be seating nearby that resembles Colorado's favorite music venue, Red Rocks. CBS Colorado predicts that the tree will be finished in 2027.
Which we know sounds like a long time, but here is a reminder, that is just two years away.
Who Is Creating the Denver International Airport Piece
The Denver Post says will be created by Donald Lipski. This artist has completed work all across the Denver Metro. Lipski has created iconic landmarks such as "The Yearling". Not only has Lipski created landmarks in Colorado, but he has also created artwork across the nation.
The new tree will be part of the Great Hall Completion Project. $13 million is the total budget.
