13-Year-Old Girl Hit by Car While Riding Bike in Fort Collins

Fort Fort Collins Police are reporting that Victoria Queen, 24, of Fort Collins collided with a 13-year-old girl while trying to make a right hand turn out of a parking lot. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon shortly before 3 p.m. on Lemay Avenue just south of Drake Road. Reports are saying that the girl was riding her bike north on the sidewalk when she was hit. She was treated with minor injuries at Poudre Valley Hospital after being transported there by ambulance. Police issued Queen a citation for failure yield when emerging from a private property.
