While we continue to wait and hope for the case of the death of Winsdor's John Jacoby to be solved, we continue to find ways to honor his memory. May 18, 2015 will be a day many of us in the area will never forget. It was the day John was senselessly taken from us by a gunman on Country Roads 15 and 72 in Windsor.

John was a fixture of the community and had a heart of gold and the most giving nature a man could have. We miss John but now have a beautiful memorial tribute piece to remember him by. There is now a marker at County Roads 15 and 72 showing a man on a bike pulling a cart with a cross. What fitting tribute to such a wonderful soul. We will never forget you John and now we have something tangible to go to and remember all the good you did on this earth. Thank you to the Jacoby family and friends for placing it there. Be sure to drive by and see it for yourself and then do some good in John's name.
