Our tight knit and loving community will never forget the pain we felt on May 18, 2015 when John Jacoby, our "Unofficial Mayor of Windsor" and ultimate Happiness Warrior, was senselessly killed while riding his beloved bike. We all felt and still feel the pain of this unsolved crime and while Johnny may be gone his legacy lives on forever in our community.

Johnny was so proud to live in Windsor and we all felt the same about Johnny. He was a huge supporter of local athletics and our 28 Hours of Hope charity. His family has vowed to keep Johnny's giving spirit alive with the annual Johnny's Community Run in Windsor. The event raises money for causes that meant so much to Johnny including the 28 Hours of Hope.

This year the event will take place on Saturday April 29th at Boardwalk Park in Windsor. You can get all the details by clicking here. The website is johnnyscommunityrun.com if you would like to spread the word. You can get all the info and even register right there. See you April 29th at Boardwalk Park.
