I am so excited for the Make It Rain concert to benefit the High Park fire victims on July 26th. This is going to be an absolutely free show on the grass in the bowl behind the Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch in Loveland. You don't need a ticket. You just need to show up. Larimer County Commissioners will hold a public update meeting for High Park Fire survivors on Monday, July 9th beginning at 6:30p.m. in the Hearing Room on the 1st floor of the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building at 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins.

The Larimer County’s High Park Fire Disaster Recovery Center, on the CSU campus, will close tomorrow on (Friday, July 6th at 4p.m.) The DRC has seen over 1500 people come through the Center since opening on June 15th, with over 600 individual households checked-in and over 250 households visiting the center more than once.
The Larimer County’s High Park Fire Disaster Recovery Center has added the Larimer County Small Business Development Center to help businesses affected by the High Park Fire. The Small Business Development Center is designed to help businesses recover, grow and move forward.
Over the last few weeks we have told you about and volunteered to help out at the Adventist Disaster Response distribution center in the Foothills Mall to help those affected by recent wildfires in Northern Colorado. Now the American Red Cross has also set up shop at the mall to provide a one-stop location for fire victims to find the assistance and resources they need to move forward.
We've seen a lot of grateful people these past few weeks supporting the firefighters fighting the High Park Fire in Colorado, and I came across TWO great examples. One is a prayer, the other a video. Both are great.

It's hard to believe that anyone could be so heart-less, but there have been reports that people are already trying to scam victims of the High Park Fire out of their money. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has received reports of individuals seeking to charge High Park Fire victims fees of up to $700 to verify whether or not their structure(s) were damaged by the fire.
Fort Collins has canceled their 4th of July fireworks display because of the High Park Fire and the extremely dry conditions. It got us to thinking. Should other cities follow their lead? We would love your opinion. Please take our poll.
