In the best news I have gotten in a while, I will soon be putting on a few extra pounds... Because the Greeley staple, Roma Restaurant has expanded and added a third restaurant about a block away from my house in Evans!

With lots of sunshine in our forecast it gives hope to a new day and helping our neighbors do what needs to be done. As much bad news as there has been, with the sun, Greeley and Evans announce good news and La Salle may be ahead of the game as well.

The City of Evans is doing everything they possibly can to get their waste water treatment plant back online but until then it's imperative that residents follow some precautions.

The Evans City Council has officially joined Weld County commissioners in the banning of pot shops.

Summer break is officially over for School District 6 students. Some parents might have taken a sigh of relief this morning to know their kids will be learning and busy again, for some of the kids, well, their emotions were mixed.

There is no doubt that my favorite place to eat in the whole world is Randy's Diner in Evans. I have loved Randy's for many years. It has always been my comfortable getaway. I do not venture out much. In order for me to patronize a business, I need to feel like they want me there, Randy's has always done that.
