Public Memorial for Jessica Ridgeway This Evening in Arvada
There’s a public memorial service for 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway this evening in Arvada. As Westminster police continue their investigation into her abduction and murder, they ask the public’s help. Jessica disappeared on her way to school October 5th. Hundreds of police officers, bloodhounds, and scores of volunteer searchers found her dismembered body last Wednesday in a park about 7 miles from her home. The FBI suspects that someone in the community knows her killer and warns residents to be on alert. The memorial service for Jessica begins a 7 tonight at Faith Bible Chapel at 12189 West 64th Avenue in Arvada. The church can hold 2,500 people. Jessica’s family says the service will be a happy one, celebrating her life.
