It was one year ago today, March 13th, 2011, a day Jason and Brenna Wadsworth knew was coming, but still dreaded since the previous July. Their three-year-old daughter, their sweet little “Laney Bug,” Delaney Wadsworth left her once healthy, but now cancer stricken, painful body and passed on. A story that touched my heart, and many others deeply did not end a year ago, Delaney’s story and memory will continue on forever. Please read, watch, cry, smile too, hug, love, help others in similar situations, and never forget Delaney!
What was supposed to be a feel good story quickly turned to tragedy when a news anchor at 9News (KUSA) in Denver was bitten in the face on air by an 85-pound Argentine Mastiff. Kyle Dyer was interviewing the dog, it’s owner, and a firefighter who rescued the dog from a frozen pond the day before. After two weeks, two surgeries, and 90 stitches total, Dyer spoke for the first time.
Greeley firefighters responded at 4:53 a.m. Wednesday to the Sushi One restaurant at 3820 10th St., directly across the courtyard from The Egg & I restaurant in the Market Square strip mall, on a report of heavy smoke. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading toward other businesses in the strip mall, but the overnight fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage to Sushi One.
Although I have never been a real political man, I have always had interest in our presidents as humans. After all, that's exactly what they are even though we forget that at times. Some have loved TV, others sports, and down home cooking, even though it maybe the most stressful job in the world, the U.S. pres
When you first look at the cost of a flight on Spirit airlines, you may start thinking about buying a vacation home and visiting it every weekend. At only $28.79 one way, you could fly across country for the price of a tank of gas. But, the airline that will start offering flights out of Denver on May 3rd may also be the king of hidden fees.
Sure, it's hard to mess up a burger, you can go to McDonald's and get an ok burger and be satisfied, but even harder to mess up a burger is to make a GREAT burger. We are lucky because we have some restaurants in Fort Collins and the surrounding area that have perfect the beef patty! Here are my ten favorite burgers in Northern Colorado!
So the idea isn’t totally original, but it is totally fun! Writing and performing a “Tim Tebow Song.” The Broncos quarterback has not only taken Colorado by storm, but the whole world really. So instead of just talking about him I decided to write a tune about him and have some of my DJ buddies join in singing it.
It would be tough to find an athlete that has taken not only the sports world by storm, but the whole world like Tim Tebow has over the last few months. Sure there have been great games, great seasons, and even great careers by others, but I can't think of anyone else who has been love and/or hated as much as the Bronco's quarterback. Many hav
After a not so surprising bad start for the Denver Broncos this season, and hundreds of thousands of fans in coach John Fox’s ear many Bronco fans are getting what they want. Early Tuesday morning Fox named Tim Tebow the starting quarterback for the Broncos next game.
