8 Years Ago Today Buck Owens Passed Away [VIDEO]

I admit it. I love country music from the 1960's. I was raised on Waylon, Willie, Merle, Charley and Buck. Buck Owens was always a favorite of mine. I love the sound of that guitar and Buck's unmistakable vocal style. There was no doubt that when you heard that Bakersfield sound that you were listening to Buck Owens.

Buck passed away 8 years ago today and will always be missed. He had such a great sense of humor and created some of the greatest country music ever recorded. Let's take a trip down memory lane and remember this great man and artist. Thanks for all the memories Buck.
