Zyn, a nicotine pouch company, has officially announced that they are building a new manufacturing factory in Colorado.

You have probably heard of Zyn. They are by far one of the most popular tobacco-less nicotine companies across the globe. The company made over $35 billion last year and has no plans to slow down or stay complacent.

There was a Zyn shortage famously last year. They plan to avoid that situation by building a new factory in Colorado.

Zyn To Open Colorado Factory

CBS reports that Philip Morris International, the parent company of Zyn, will open a new facility in Aurora.

They plan on investing $600 million in the factory which will create many jobs. To be specific, 500 full-time positions will need to be filled and 1,000 part-time jobs will be available.

This will be extremely beneficial for Colorado's economy. Are Coloradans going to feel good or bad about working for a company that is adding to addiction issues in America?

Zyn, Colorado, and Addiction

Zyn is a tobacco-free product that contains nicotine. It is a safer alternative to chewing tobacco, but it is still extremely addictive.

I view it the same way as vaping. They are still more safe than tobacco, but you are still risking your health.

Harvard took a look and concluded that Zyn pouches can increase cardiovascular disease among users and is still researching the effects of addiction to the product.
