Some things in life are tough. Going to school, work, buying a home, starting a family, and many other things in life are tough. Perhaps two of the most stressful things in life are finding someone to date, not knowing when or if it will ever happen, and also finding a job, for the same reason. Both can seem like they will never happen, and even when you find a job or someone to date, there are questions about whether it is the right one for you. When it comes to Colorado, is it easier to find someone to date or is it easier to find a new job?

As one gets older, finding a job and finding someone to spend one's life with are two major priorities for many. Dating can be stressful, as there are many ways to look for someone, and so many things that can go wrong. Looking for a job can be tough and take a while, and finding one you enjoy that also pays enough can be tough as well. Highriskpay.com recently released a study comparing finding a job to finding a date, and which one is more stressful and tougher for each state. According to the study, most people think it is easier to find a job in Colorado than to find a romantic partner. Most of the United States agrees, and more states think job hunting is easier than looking for a partner.

According to the study, 57% of men say they would rather go to a job interview than go on a first date, compared to 70% of women who would rather go to a job interview than go on a first date. Colorado ranks as the 5th easiest state to find a job, which might be why Coloradoans prefer job hunting over dating. Over 77% of residents would prefer to look for a new job. Interestingly, though, 33 percent of the population in Colorado is single, meaning only a third of people are looking for romantic partners. With apps, finding a date is easier than ever before, but it can also be scary for those unfamiliar with it, and the fear of rejection can make dating scary, no matter how old you are.
