The Windsor Recreation Center is a pillar in the community and a resource that many of us use for entertainment, sports activities, keeping fit and a place for our kids to play and learn.

I've been a member at the Windsor Rec Center for about 2 years now and I love it. They do such a great job with community involvement and provide a great place (and a safe place) for kids to go to be active and socialize.

As we wind down the summer of 2022 and all of the fun that came with it, the Rec Center has announced they will be having a one week closure for annual maintenence and cleaning.

It's definitely one of the nicer rec centers I've ever been to and the people that are there are always extremely friendly and helpful. Memberships are extremely reasonable too with various options for you to best fit your needs.

From their weekly farmer's market, to music in the park, to a direct resources for sports and activities for both kids and adults, the Rec Center is pretty fantastic so to keep things fantastic and well kept, they'll be close for maintanence and cleaning.

Bummed out because  you won't be able to work out during this time? Don't, because if you're a member like I am, you can use the Recreation Centers in Eaton and Loveland for free during the closure week. Just make sure to bring your membership ID with you to those locations.

As for Windsor, the Rec Center plans to reopen, fresh and clean on Monday August 22nd.
