
Two Village Inn Locations Close in Colorado
As a kid who grew up in Colorado, there were a handful of restaurants that my grandparents used to love to frequent. One of them was Furr's cafeteria, the other was known for its pie.
Until the very end, my grandfather loved going to the restaurant we all had been to at least once in our lives. Village Inn. The big orange sign can almost be like a hug any time I drive by, as it brings back memories of simpler times when I was younger and had the chance to still eat with my grandparents.

As the years go by, restaurants change menus, close, or reinvent their brand. Sadly, Village Inn has closed several restaurants in Colorado over the years. In 2026, it appears that more locations have closed.
Recently Closed Village Inn Locations in Colorado
As of January 20, 2026, only 18 locations are remaining in the state of Colorado. According to 9News, the restaurant chain known for its all-American breakfasts and pies has closed two locations.

Listed on the Village Inn website, the location at 23 Centennial Boulevard, at South Broadway and C-470 in Highlands Ranch, shows the restaurant as permanently closed.
Northern Colorado Village Inn Closes
A second location in Northern Colorado has also shuttered. The former location at 921 30th Avenue in Greeley is also showing as closed on villageinn.com. The closure of the West Greeley Village Inn reduces the restaurant’s footprint in Northern Colorado to just two remaining locations, located at Greeley Centerplace and in Loveland.
