Like many others in Colorado, I loved Toys "R" Us when I was a kid. I still remember the jingle, I don't wanna grow up!

Well, we grew up, and unfortunately, Toys "R" Us locations closed across the country. If you are nostalgic or want a place to take the kids, we have some great news for you. Toys "R" Us is officially coming back to Colorado.

You might recall that in 2022, a Toys "R" Us section opened in Loveland, inside Macy's.
Toys “R” Us Expanding Across the U.S.
Toys "R" Us is opening more locations across the nation. As of right now, there are six locations across the country. None of those locations are in Colorado quite yet. However, seven new locations are in the works. One of those locations will be right here in Colorado.
Where the New Colorado Store Will Be
The new location will be at Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton.
What Makes the New Flagship Stores Different
These new locations will be known as flagship stores. They will not be part of another store. They will be the Toys "R" Us stores we grew up loving, or the ones that your kids dragged you to.
When Will the Thornton Store Open?
Many of these upcoming locations have opening dates. Currently, it only states "coming soon" for Colorado.

Excitement for Colorado Families
I am excited to see what the new store looks like. Will it be nostalgic? Or will it be updated? Either way, kids in Colorado have a new place to be excited about.
